AspirantLink (aspirantlink.in) is an online mock test platform for Indian competitive exam aspirants, operated by an individual proprietor based in Telangana, India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we store it, and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
1. What Data We Collect
We only collect the data we need to run the platform:
- Full name – to identify your exam account and personalize your reports.
- Phone number and/or email address – to give you access to tests and to communicate with you about your exams and purchases.
- Exam responses – the answers you submit during mock tests, used to calculate your scores and generate your AI SWOT analysis reports.
- Device identifier – for paid tests, we record a device identifier so that access can be locked to one device per purchase.
2. Why We Collect It
Your data is used for these purposes only: giving you access to free and paid mock tests, verifying paid purchases against the phone number or email used at checkout, generating your personal performance reports (including AI SWOT reports built from your own exam responses), and contacting you about your tests, results, or support requests.
We never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your data is stored in our website database, hosted on Hostinger servers. We take reasonable security measures to protect it from unauthorized access.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and your browser’s localStorage to save your exam progress (for example, which questions you have answered and how much time is left) so that your test experience works smoothly. These are functional, not advertising, uses. You can clear them from your browser settings, but doing so may reset your in-progress exam.
5. Third-Party Services
- Razorpay – processes payments for paid tests. When you pay, Razorpay collects your payment details directly under its own privacy policy. We do not store your card or banking details.
- Google Translate – powers the language translation feature on our site. When you use it, some page content is processed by Google under its own privacy policy.
6. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023
As a user in India, you have the right to: access a summary of the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, request erasure of your data (unless we must retain it for legal reasons, such as payment records), withdraw your consent at any time, and raise a grievance about how your data is handled.
